Tip: Cmd+S and Cmd+Z are your new best friends. Use them constantly!

Node Operations

Operation Steps
Select Single Node Click the node
Select Multiple Nodes Cmd/Ctrl+Click each node OR drag selection box
Deselect All Click empty canvas or press Escape
Move Node Click and drag the node
Duplicate Node Select node, press Cmd/Ctrl+D
Delete Node Select node, press Delete or Backspace
Open Node Config Double-click the node

Connecting Nodes

  1. Click the output port (right side of source node)
  2. Drag to the input port (left side of target node)
  3. Release to create connection

To cancel a connection in progress:

  • Press Escape
  • Click on empty canvas

Tip: Output ports are usually on the right, input ports on the left. Look for the small circles.

Pro Tips

Tip 1: Use Undo Liberally

Made a mistake? Don't worry, just Cmd+Z (Mac) or Ctrl+Z (Windows). You can undo dozens of actions.

Tip 2: Select and Delete Multiple Nodes

1. Drag selection box around nodes you want to delete
2. Press Delete
3. All selected nodes disappear

Tip 3: Duplicate Complex Nodes

1. Select node
2. Press Cmd/Ctrl+D
3. Duplicate appears nearby
4. Modify as needed

Tip 4: Pan Large Workflows

For big workflows, use Cmd+Click+Drag (or Ctrl+Click+Drag) to move the canvas around instead of scrolling.

Tip 5: Zoom to Fit

Click the "Fit to Screen" button in the bottom-right corner to see your entire workflow at once.

Tip 6: Multi-Select for Batch Operations

1. Cmd/Ctrl+Click each node you want to modify
2. Right-click for context menu
3. Operations apply to all selected nodes

Workflow Building Speed Tips

Fast Workflow Creation

  1. Create first node — Type its name, press Enter
  2. Add next node — Create and auto-connect
  3. Configure as you go — Don't worry about perfect config upfront
  4. Test frequentlyCmd/Ctrl+Enter to run
  5. Use Undo — Don't be afraid to experiment

Fast Configuration

  1. Use Data Mapper (click 🔗 icon) instead of typing expressions
  2. Copy config from similar nodes and modify
  3. Use templates if available
  4. Keyboard Tab to jump between fields

Troubleshooting

"Shortcuts not working?"

  1. Make sure the canvas has focus (click on it)
  2. Check if you're using the right modifier key (Cmd for Mac, Ctrl for Windows)
  3. Try refreshing the page

"Selection box not working?"

  1. Make sure you're starting on empty canvas (not on a node)
  2. Drag diagonally to select multiple nodes

"Can't create connection?"

  1. Click OUTPUT port (right side of source node)
  2. Drag to INPUT port (left side of target node)
  3. Release to complete
